The VQ4500 is equipped with Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) technology, which positively identifies the Satellites. And once it finds 1 Satellite, it automatically knows where the others are.

The VQ4500 Tailgater II portable Satellite Antenna is the first fully automatic portable satellite antenna with fully integrated antenna & receiver software. There is no need for a remote or for an external power source. Simply connect the Tailgater II to your DISH Network required ViP211k, ViP211 or 411 models HD receiver using the 50 ft. coax cable that is included with your Tailgater II. Select the state your located in on the TV and then select scan. It takes a few minutes to find the satellites and download the programming, so relax and enjoy a cup of hot coffee while you are waiting.
