How to Set up Your Dish Tailgater

The reengineered DISH Tailgater starts scanning faster and completes the scan more quickly than previous models.
Ideal for tailgaters, RVers, long haul truckers, sporting, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone with an active mobile lifestyle. The Tailgater allows you to take your Satellite TV service with you anywhere in the continental U.S. It also includes 100% nationwide coverage (western and eastern hybrid arc: 61.5, 110, 119).
Compatible DISH HD Solo receiver is required. Compatible with DISH HD Solo receivers (Wally®, ViP®211z, ViP211k or 411).
Upper Northeast coverage requires the Wally receiver. DISH satellite service required; add service to your home account or sign up for the simple Pay As You Go Monthly Service.

How It Works:
Connect the Tailgater to the Wally DISH receiver to power the antenna. Then, connect the satellite receiver to your TV with the 35 feet coax cable. (You will need access to 110v AC or a power inverter to power the Wally receiver and TV.)
Once powered on, simply follow the easy on-screen instructions. The Tailgater will automatically locate the DISH satellites, delivering access to HD channels in just minutes.
If you are watching TV from your vehicle for more than a few hours, periodically run your vehicle to maintain battery life. For extended use, a portable power generator, power pack, or alternative accessory battery is recommended.
