Due to a childish dipstick who made a big fuss over the dimensions, I personal re-measure this and our dimension were correct. This is a soft sided cooler, which means, that when you fill it, it becomes larger. For example, the end pocket expands by more than 1 1/2" when filled for a total overall length of 15". We try to give the max outside dimension, so you will know how much room you need to store it, should you stuff the bag full. Most customers have enough sense to understand this.If the dimensions are critical for you, do not buy it online. Pick one up at a truck stop so you can bring your micro-calipers along and make sure you get the dimensions to the neaest .001", that way, you will be happy and so will we. :o)
