Koolatron 12-Volt Digital Precision Temperature Control Coolers for MEDICAL AND SCIENTIFIC Applications: May be used to transport medical samples, temperature sensitive drugs or other products like photographic materials and Insulin. Koolatron's Precision Temperature Controlled Coolers are built to order, with a higher quality insulation and a Temperature Controlled Unit that will allow the Cooler to Cool up to 50 degrees below the ambient. Most Coolers will only Cool 35 to 40 degrees below ambient. Koolatron's regular Coolers will Cool 40 to 45 degrees which is why they are a better cooler in general. At 1/2 the price of a Low Powered 12-Volt Refrigerator Freezers, these Coolers can also act as a midrange Refrigerator, especially if your ambient is under 90 degrees. The PC3 units work well for Truckers who often shutoff the Truck in summer while at the dock or who just want to keep their food & drinks at a constant temperature regardless of the ambient. Also Work Great for a Poor Man's Refrigerator because they Maintain any temperature Set up to 45 to 50 degrees below the Ambient. Keep your Truck under 85 degrees and for all practical purposes, you have a Refrigerator at 1/2 the Cost. Diabetic? Choose between the following control Units: TC-2 Controlled Thermoelectric - will automatically switch from cooling to heating mode as required to maintain the set temperatures. Maximum heating is approximately 80-100°F above the ambient temperature. Maximum cooling capacity is approximately 45 to 50°F below the ambient temperature. You choose Both, the High and the Low Set-Point temperatures and Your Cooler will be Factory Set Specifically for Your Application. Tolerance is 1 Degree.
PC-3 Controlled Thermoelectric - will automatically switch from cooling to heating mode as required to maintain the set temperatures with a tolerance of +- 2 degrees. Maximum heating is approximately 80-100°F above the ambient temperature. Maximum cooling capacity is approximately 45 to 50°F below the ambient temperature. You Set the Controlled Temperature Yourself. Tolerance is 3 Degrees.
TC-5 Heater Boxes - heater only arrangement. The heater array has a super precise computer set temperature sensor/controller that maintains contents at preset temperature specified by the customer (at time of order). Designated for continuous operation in heater mode. Maximum temperature is 160°F. You choose the temperature and Your Cooler will be Factory Set Specifically for Your Application. Used by "Meals on Wheels". Tolerance is 1 Degree.
