RoadTrucker's Return Policy

ROADTRUCKER'S PROMISE OF SATISFACTION*

Straight Returns:

You must Request a Return Authorization for all Returns

Satisfaction Guaranteed* - If you are not satisfied with your Purchase, simply return it, Shipping Pre Paid, in the complete and original packaging (together with all accessories and manuals) with your Original Order Number and Return Authorization Number (Request via Email sent to "Sales") within 30 days of the date of purchase. See exceptions below. We will Gladly Refund the Cost of the item, less 10% (if you Request an RA) of a 15% restocking Fee.  We will pay the other 5% for you, Just to say Thank You for getting an RA. Do NOT Send Returns to North Carolina.  A 25% Restocking Fee Will be Charged for any Return Sent to Our Offices.

Any Electronics must be returned within 14 days of purchase.  RoadTrucker will not accept returns of non-defective opened electronics. Any Electronics that are defective may be exchanged for the identical item only, within the 14 Day Return Period. There is no Refund for Open Electronics.

On items returned that included Free Ground Shipping or Free or Partial Free Freight, we will refund your money less the Amount it Cost to ship it to you and a 10% (if you Request an RA, 15% if you do not) restocking fee. Please Note: This Amount can be 2 times what we charged you. For Logbooks, it is a flat $15 per box. For the Vu Qube it is a flat $35. For the larger 12-Volt Engel Fridge Freezers, it can be as high as $200 if you live in Washington or California.

Please Note: Galaxy CB and 10 Meter Radios cannot be returned to RoadTrucker or RoadPro. You will need to go to Galaxy directly for any issues concerning these Radios. See http://galaxyradios.com/warranty.html.

* Please Note: We do NOT accept returns on Open Electronics, 12-Volt Heaters or 12-Volt Electric Blankets.  These items may only be returned for Repair or Replacement.

You are responsible for Pre-Paying your Shipping when sending an Item back, after Requesting and Receiving a Return Authorization. You are also responsible for Checking Your Package Immediately for Damage. If you find that an item has arrived damaged, you may request a shipping document for Returning the item, for a Replacement only, within 14 days of your order or 7 days of delivery.

Any customer paying postage for returning an item can request free shipping (up to $15) on their following order, if they Requested an RA.

Cancelled Orders:

Any order cancelled before the credit card is charged will NOT incur a fee, however, once your card has been charged, there will be a 10% fee to cover the cost of processing. We must pay for both the charge and the refund. See our FAQ "Why did you Stop Accepting American Express Credit Cards?"

90-Day Replacement:

You must Request a Return Authorization for all Returns

We will gladly Replace or Repair an item within 90-Days of Purchase. Any customer paying postage for returning an item can request free shipping (up to $15) on their following order, if they Requested an RA.

Each Manufacturer has their own Refund Policy, as well as their own Return Policy.  RoadTrucker has standardized the first 30 days of the Refund Policy and Return Policy with a 30-day Money-Back Guarantee* on everything except for electronics, 12-Volt Blankets and 12-Volt Heaters, which have a tighter Return Policy and Refund Policy. As stated above, electronics have a 14 day Refund Policy provided the package is unopened and 90-days for our Exchange Policy for Opened Packages.  After this initial period, you may still have a Manufacturer's Warrantee. For example Galaxy has a 2-year Warrantee. Note: Galaxy Radios have a no return policy and No Money-Back Guarantee. Your radio can be returned for repair or replacement only through Galaxy directly.  http://galaxyradios.com/warranty.html.

 

Please Note:

When a product is returned, there are several costs involved, which are an unfortunate side effect of ordering online. Credit card processing accounts for about 3% or more for the original charge and another 3% for the refund; shipping the product to the customer and another shipping charge to send it back; and in addition RoadPro charges a 15% restocking fee. On a $100 item that amounts to about $21 Plus the cost of shipping the item twice. If shipping is $8, the total cost would be $37 or 37% of the order (well over 1/3). You can see why it is beneficial to make sure you are ordering the correct item that you want. Unfortunately a return cannot be avoided when there are problems.

 

RoadTrucker will cover the 6% processing fees and, in addition, if you Request an RA, we will pay 5% of the 15% restocking fee. RoadTrucker will also give you free shipping (limited to a max of $15) the next time you order, to ease the pain of shipping it back. We wish we could do more, but unfortunately we cannot afford to cover all the cost associated with returns. We will pay for the shipping on your next order, regardless of why the product was returned. This will effectively reimburse your shipping to send the product back, with the exception of a couple of the heavier items since we limit it to $15.

 

Think of Shipping as the Equivalent of Driving To and From the Store. You save on Gas, Oil and Wear & Tear on Your Vehicle, not to mention an Hour or so of your driving time and another 1/2 hour (or Hour) standing in the Return Line.

 

ROADPRO 90-DAY EXTENDED WARRANTY


Roadpro offers a 90-day warranty provided no abuse has occurred. All freight charges are to be prepaid.

ALL ITEMS MUST INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  1. Return Authorization Number. (Request via e-mail to sales).

  2. Note the item was purchased from RoadTrucker.com.

  3. Note a semi-detailed description of the Problem.

Packages must be returned Pre-Paid (You Pay for Shipping) as our Vendors do not accept C.O.D.

New Shopping CART Implemented
Today, April-26-2008, at 2:00 am in the morning, RoadTrucker Implemented a new Shopping Cart. We spent a lot of time testing the new shopping cart for problems and errors and we feel we found most of them. If you should find something that doesn't look right, like shipping was added on a Free Shipping Product, or Tax on a state other than North Carolina, please let us know. Call our 800 number (800-507-0482) below.
 
We apologize for our Shopping Cart Vendor (Ez-Powercart) who put in a significant change without any warning, or user testing. This was a thoughtless, inconsiderate, and unprofessional way to make a change. It has caused trouble for all of our customers over the last 2 weeks. Thankfully we found a much better shopping cart
