RoadTrucker:   Needed to replace an older analog TV in our motorhome and it needed to be 12v.  Came upon your site doing an internet search.

Hi, I have purchased many TV's from you guys and your customer service is the best I've ever had. I purchased the 22inch HDLEDTV with DVD Player, Model No: NTD-2252. I accidentally during set up pressed Spanish and I can't get the setting back to English!! Frustrating. I've tried everything. Can you tell me how to get TV back to English. Thanks, Debbie. Lo siento, eso que no hablo español. Ok, seriously, when you first go into the Setup menu, it should be the 2nd item down on the 1st page. Look for something like "Lengua del menú     Español".

I am absolutely overjoyed with the GPS I purchased from you. I had very little updateing to do, so basically it was plug and play. Thanks for the great service I received during the buying of the GPS, the help was very helpful so much so I still consult it every now and again when I am looking for info.

Hi James, Glad you got a lot of use out of our GPS tips. We wanted to make sure all of our customers were able to use it quickly, without having to read the 100 plus pages of the user guide.

(Editors note: James is referring to the email we send everyone who purchase a Truck GPS from us. It basically tells our customers how to set it up & start using the GPS immediately and what settings they should be aware of.)

You guys are awesome. I won't be able to check out the TV until Spring as I don't have 12V here where I live in the Winter. My 12V system is at my cabin and it's under snow. Thank you for this helpful email. I happened on your site while looking for a small 12v TV for my boat. You had a better selection and prices than the marine sites had. Also, cruising sailors face some of the same issues as truckers; size, volume of the unit, power consumption, etc., and your site addressed all of them. Maybe you should insert a marine word somewhere in your web page so you come up when boaters are searching for 12 v devices. I look forward to getting my TV. Fred

We did have 3 models of marine TVs from Skyworth, until we could not get them anymore. We still have a 19" Refurbished Marine Skyworth with a new TV warranty though. Our main focus is on the long hauler, but you make a good point and we may consider that in the future, after we get the website updated and add all the products we want to add. Happy boating.

You are welcome. Consider using Google Checkout or PayPal button next time. You will not have to keep entering your data every time you order. After the first time, you will only need to log on and ok the order and your done. And PayPal offers buyer protection and you can actually call then if you have a problem.

I hope you get this and can use it for a feedback or testimonial, This is the best use of technology going! Finally something that lives up to the hype! I have only had it a day but the ease of using it and the pin point accuracy I can tell this is going to pay for itself in about 2 weeks and then start making me money! I just changed jobs from a local route in NY to a 9 state regional run, so I am way out of my comfort zone. Thanks to the TND700 I had no worries with 5 stops around Boston yesterday! Not being paid hourly (something I always was) makes owning this a must! Thanks Jerry N

Always nice to get feedback from our customers. You are basically right. The Rand McNally is "the best use of technology going". We have been selling about 80 to 100 units a month and I can tell you that almost everyone appreciates what the TND does for them. To date, we have had only 2 customer who have gone out of their way to complain about the TND. And it is always trivial complaints, that have nothing to do with the main purpose of the Truck GPs, which is to keep you safe (Low bridge Warnings) and save you money (Keep you off of restricted roads). Our customer know that the TND makes it very easy to send that information to Rand so they can correct it. And lets face it.. The TND is for truckers and truckers are responsible to make sure it is the best possible solution for their needs. After all, the benefit is to them. I might also add for other readers of this post, that Rand is coming out with a new unit designed specifically for RVers.

My husband received this for his christmas present a month before Christmas and absolutely loves it. He said this was the best gift ever. Thanks for the great feedback. Like you, we are convinced that the Rand McNally is by far the very best Trucker GPS available in the market today and it continues to keep getting better. We have sold over 800 GPSes, last year and over 1/2 have been the two Rand McNally TND700s and the TND500s. The TND has passed every test with flying colors, except perhaps the install could be a little more robust. We love the TND and I use the TND700 myself, because I love the way the big 7" high definition screen clearly points out the way to o when I come to those multi-highway exits. No other GPS does this so clearly. The TND was a wonderful gift that will help keep your husband safe from low bridges, save money on fuel and keep him from getting expensive tickets for being where he is not supposed to be. Enjoy and safe driving.

Hi to Frank & Marissa: This is so very nice of you to include all this info. You dont find this kind of service frpm too many places for truckers the days. I know of the Skyworth from drooling over them at a trucktop that had the 19 and 22 in years back as a driver who said one of these days..... well, after open heart surgery I sold the big house I inherited, paid off all the bills bought my 2005 volvo (cash) and now! I get to get my 22 in Skyworth Ive been waiting for. I just bought this laptop and have really been reserching stuff before I buy it. I thought the suspersonic 1080 i had a nice picture but theyre have been issues with the power cord and picture quality over the years. But then I found the perfect 22in with all the bells and whistles and a dvd which is the cats meow. Since in all the trucks Ive driven or owned is the first thing to go. You are very welcome, Gail. We try to provide the value that really is needed today. We find the new TVs can be a bit confusing for some of our customers. Even those who consider themselves to be savvy, do not always understand them, so felt a few pages of tips to help clear up any confusion would be helpful to our customers, as we want them to get value for their money and certainly be able to use the TV, as was intended. Issues will come up for all brands and all products. That is just a way of life, but the important thing is how well the product gets supported. We find Skyworth to be one of our premier accounts because they go that extra mile to support their products. That is why you can get that new remote or the frayed cord replaced. You can also get the TV repaired very cheap even long after the warranty runs out. Enjoy your new Skyworth.

Hi Frank, WOW! The TV arrived this evening and the other one is on it's way back. I can't believe that happened so fast. The replacement is the upgraded A-3 model mentioned in your voice mail and the factory packaging was undisturbed, all accessories accounted for. I gave it an hour to come up to room temperature (it's been cold in the Northeast) and then checked the operation. It functions perfectly and will be wrapped and under the Christmas Tree by tomorrow. Thanks again for your help and regard for customer satisfaction. It's something that's missing from a lot of business today but you and Road Trucker are obviously a cut above the rest.
