Timex WatchesTakes a Licking & Keeps on Ticking From $16.95Remember those old advertisements? I was just a kid when they featured the Timex watch strapped to Mickey Mantle's bat, frozen in an ice cube tray, spun for seven days in a vacuum cleaner or taped to a giant lobster's claw. There were a lot more live torture tests, but the Timex kept ticking. Taped to the propeller of an outboard motor, tumbling over the Grand Coulee Dam, or held fist first by a diver leaping eighty-seven feet from the Acapulco cliffs. The Timex watch is probably the most interesting watch in the world. Did you know they were the first to produce the Mickey Mouse watch? And during World War I, the U.S. Army required Timex (then Waterbury Clock) to re-tool the Yankee Pocket Watch into a convenient new "wristwatch" for soldiers. They kept wearing them after the war and the rest is history. I really like my Timex. A fifth of the cost of my dress watch, runs better and has the date which I couldn't live without. Everyone has different taste, so we thought we would put a few of the most popular models here for your selection. Unfortunately Roadpro has decided not to handle them anymore, but we do have a few Children's left. Kids Timex Watches - Only a Few Left
