Best Options for Trucker to access TV in Truck Cab while on 10 hr break, best devices

    Hello Owner Operators,
My husband will be on the road for 3 weeks at a time and I would like to connect him with the best option for tv viewing in his down time in truck. What have you found to be the best option, device/service company used vs lugging around traditional tv. Appreciate it! Thanks for all you do out there keeping products moving, etc.!

There are several options available from just buying a 12 Volt TV with DVD player and scanning for free over-the-air stations at each stop, to buying a portable satellite antenna and subscribing to Dish Network or DirecTV. You can browse around by clicking on the link at the top of this page labeled, "Truck Products". I would recommend that you start by looking at the TVs, since he would need a TV. There is a link at the top off all RoadTrucker pages, labeled, "12V TV / DVD". The page it goes to is a Multi-Product page that gives you a fast overview of the TVs available. You can click on any picture to get detailed information on any product, including delivery times. If you decide to buy one, make sure it will fit in the space he has available in the truck. Sometimes you need to get something smaller than you would like, so that it will fit. Just before the pictures on that multi-product page is 4 large buttons. The bottom one is for the Portable Satellite Antennas. There are videos on those pages which will help you to quickly understand how they work. The new ones are much cheaper and they are also fully automatic. If you are unsure about navigating the website, click the "Help Videos" link at the top of any page and watch the short video on, "How to Shop and Order at RoadTrucker". If you have question after you have completed your investigations, you can always call. Someone almost always answers the ***** until late hours of the night.
