What is an online forum?
An online forum is a discussion site. It's sometimes also called a 'bulletin board' or 'message board'. It may often be compared to blogsites but it's more of an "active" interaction. It contains several sections and categories, but the kick off of conversations is by posting threads and individual posts.
How is all this structured?
A forum as a whole contains various categories (broad subject areas), which themselves contain forums (more specific subject areas) which contain threads (conversations on a topic) which are made up of individual posts (where a user writes something).
RoadTrucker's Forum will require you and other visitors to register in order to access the specific topics that best interest you. Being registered gives you an identity on the board, allows you to create a username and an online public profile.
Registration of course is free, and upon clicking the link on a confirmation e-mail that we will send you, you're good to go! We advise you to begin at Stop and Say "Hello!" and Forum Rules to introduce yourself and start interacting with others.
Please visit the FAQ page for more information. We hope that you will have a good time hanging around and at the same time, enjoy sharing and learning among others!
