August 22, 2013 ARLINGTON, Va. – American Trucking Associations announced it is seeking nominations for the seventh annual Mike Russell “Good stuff” Trucking Image Award.

The award honors trucking companies, state associations and allied companies who creatively generate positive awareness of the trucking industry. This time, the Russell Award is sponsored by TMW Systems Inc. This was handed out first in 2006.

“It is important to highlight trucking’s role as the backbone of the American economy,” said ATA President and CEO Bill Graves. “Our industry is not only essential, but safe and sustainable. We are looking forward to this year’s nominations and recognizing those that promote our image year round.”

Judging will be based on creativity, execution and reach or impact. Deadline of submissions will be on Sept. 23. Winners will be announced in October during ATA’s annual Management Conference & Exhibition in Orlando, Fla.
