Does anyone know where I can these wood beams for flatbed trucks?

I've noticed flatbed trucks use real dense, hard (really nice) wood beams on their trucks some times. They use them
to hold and pad large items - like giant steel spools or whatever other things flatbeds carry.

Sometimes these have fallen off of a truck and I've picked them up and looked at them. They are often the best
quality wood - and these can be used again.

What I wonder is where do the flatbed truckers get these wood beams?

I have attached a picture. I need a specific location on the east coast preferrably, and between PA and MA preferrably.

    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks.

Thanks a lot - that picture came from some guy - perhaps Rhode Island or Massachusetts - not sure but I would
    love to find a supplier!

I've asked a lumber yard to make me some beams - we'll see how it goes. I'm surprised noone has responded yet?

Dunnage Boards puts chemicals in the wood. I don't know of a Latrobe Lumber - PA I assume. Why is such a simple question so hard to find lumber
for? There must be 50,000 lumber mills that can supply what I'm asking for? I guess I'll have to buy a Beam Machine - get my trailer hitch
and start taking down logs. I guess I should buy a Husky 460 or something. I would like to go with something about half the price - I won't need
to cut large logs. My electric is great to take down trees - but I will likely go for the gas-powered so it's smoother and so I can keep my electric
separately for smaller jobs. I don't use chemically-treated wood nor would I ever recommend it. It's environmental pollution and the wood nature
gave us is MORE than adequate.

The best wood is wood that an insect or termite can eat. When their done, put up a new fence.

I know what it is - my plain intuition tells me that people don't want me to have the wood - they don't want a man
who's gifted and highly accomplished to have a simple good thing. Pure hardwood beams.
