Charles Winborn and W.T.W Enterprises from Alabama and National Trucking Financial Reclamation Services both filed the second and third time suit against Pilot Flying J for allegations that it defrauded carriers out of tens of millions of dollars in a rebate withholding scheme over nearly a decade-long period.
Both are class-action lawsuits seeking settlement for certain Pilot customers, damages, punitive damages and attorney’s fees. To recall last April 20, Pilot Flying J was hit with its first lawsuit by Hazlhurst, Ga., carrier Atlantic Coast Carriers.
Now this week, the two mentioned companies filed against Pilot who allegedly withholds rebates from carriers and engages in deceptive business practices.
