Chris & April Collom, Brighton, CO. Editor's Note: This was the worst job I ever did on handing a warranty repair. First I had them send it to the wrong vendor, so I had to ask the vendor to resend it to the correct place. Then after the repair, it was sent back to the wrong vendor and I had to ask them a 2nd time to resend it to the Colloms. This caused about a 2 week delay. All the time, the Colloms were very understanding and supportive. I just had to do something nice for them. so I bought them a 12 volt coffee mug.

I have a fairly new toy hauler that had a 110v analog TV with an independent DVD player. With the new digital age upon us I was going to have to put in a converter box to watch the thing and it was getting cluttered with a DVD box here and a converter box there plus I needed to run the generator to watch it and if my wife went to bed I had to shut it off. I stumbled across Roadtruckers 12v 19" DVD digital receiver TV and it looked like the answer. I bit the bullet and ordered it and was very pleasantly surprised with the TV and the delivery! I also received a set of instructions from Roadtrucker on what little nuances to watch for. They are minor ones for sure! The only problem I had was it is hard for my big fat stubby fingers to screw on the antenna cable where it is between all of the other optional input and output connectors. I needed a new cable anyway and found one at radio shack that has a barrel nut that makes it much easier to tighten it properly. Oh and the TV works great! Then I was chatting with my dad about what he wants for his birthday. He already has everything so what was I going to get him? He mentioned he was going to have to get a 12v converter box for his 12v only cabin in the mountains and walla! A light went off! He is now the proud owner of another 12v 19" digital DVD TV. I got the exact same excellent service 2 times in a row. He is 85 and can be VCR challenged and he got it going. He loves the picture. He only got one or two analog channels at the cabin and couldn't wait to get it there to see how it does digital but says he will be happy to just watch DVD's. Thanks for the good service guys!
