Please Note: The Power Requirements for a Microwave are too high to plug directly into the 12-Volt Adaptor. It may work for a while before causing you trouble. You need a good solid connection. Pay the few dollars (if necessary) to have it hooked up correctly. It will serve you well for years to come. Your health is important, isn't it? 20' of 4 gage wire kit. This high current power cable delivers the raw power your equipment demands while providing the ultimate in flexibility. To survive the severe mobile environment this exceptional cable has a high tech formulation that resists grease, oil, heat, and abrasions. Only pure electrolytic copper is used with an intense rope lay design. Mobile Spec power cables are red, blue and black. Please Note: We are sorry to say that RoadPro has decided to discontinue the Microwave kit. Here is what you can do. Try to find yourself a 120 Volt Microwave that uses as little power as possible. It is unlikely you will find one less than about 700 Watts, but do not go less than 550 watts. Next if you do not already have one, purchase a 12 Volt Inverter that is about 1 1/2 times the wattage of your Microwave. A 1500 Watt Inverter should do you well for Microwaves up to about 1000 watts. Mount the Inverter as close to the battery as possible, since the high amperage will run between the Battery and the Inverter. Make sure this wiring is sized correctly for the Inverter. Normally the correct wiring comes with the Inverter. The wire between the Inverter and the Microwave should be the size of the power wire on the Microwave. It si best to run your vehicle while using the microwave. Enjoy.. Frank | |
