They Last! The Engel line is the perfect solution for high hurricane areas where power outages occur. They Operate from both 12/24V DC and 110V AC. Both plugs can be plugged in together as the Engel 12-Volt Refrigerator/Freezer automatically switches power from 110 volts to 12/24 volts as soon as the 120 volt power is lost. When the 120 volts is restored, the Engel Fridge Freezer switches back to 120 Volt.
