Galaxy DX-979 w/Talkback Circuit CB Radio. $148.48

The Galaxy DX979 has all the features of the DX959, except for the 5 Digit Frequency counter and Roger Beep. Like the DX949 & DX959, the DX979 can transmit the three types of signals (AM, USB, LSB) presently used for communications in the CB (Citizens Band) radio. The DX-979 may not have a Frequency counter, but it does come Pre-wired for the External 6 digit FC 347 Frequency Counter, which is more useful for the SSB (Single Side Band). The DX979 also comes with a StarLite Faceplate which provides backlighting for all lettering and is a more compact CB Radio.

CB Radio Magazine says "there are lots of fun mods for this radio.
